Munich, Germany
Munich, the capital of
Bavaria, has a number of centuries-old buildings and museums. Munich, the
capital and largest city of the German state of Bavaria, is located on the
banks of the River Isar, north of the Bavarian Alps. Munich, after Berlin and
Hamburg, is the third-largest city in Germany with 1.49 million inhabitants.
There are many different Baroque, Roman, and Gothic buildings in this beautiful
city. There's no shortage of green space in the English Garden, which is one of
the largest municipal parks in Europe. Furthermore, Munich has about
twenty-five magnificent cathedrals.
Some of Munich's most
well-known attractions are located in the city center, including the
Frauenkirche (cathedral), the Allianz Arena (football stadium), the BMW Welt
and Olympiapark (Olympic Park) in the north of the city, and the Kunstareal
(museum area), which is home to several of the city's most renowned museums.
